Tape – Play

Loading a tape

Load a recorded/recordable tape into the
tape slot with the side you want to play/
record facing up.
With the side you want to
play/record facing up.

Playing a tape

You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to TAPE.

Press DIRECTION on the MD deck
repeatedly to select "g" to play one
side. Select "h" (or "j"*) to play
both sides.
* The tape deck stops automatically after
repeating the sequence five times.

Press TAPE nN.
The N indicator lights up and the tape
starts playing the front side.
To play the reverse side, press TAPE
nN again. The n indicator lights up
and the tape starts playing the reverse side.

Stop play Press x.
Press X. Press again to resume
Pause
play.
Press m or M.
Fast-forward or
rewind
Press TAPE nN (Automatic
Switch to TAPE
function from Source selection).
