Connecting signaling contact X3

Signaling contact X3 must be wired before the power cables are connected.

Signaling contact X3 on the Voltage Protection Module is routed via a bistable relay. The
relay may shift to the other switching state if subjected to excessive movement during
transportation and installation. This may prevent the system from starting.
NOTICE
Damage when switching on the inverter as a result of a short circuit
After it has responded, the Voltage Protection Module generates a short-circuit as long as
the motor is rotating. If the inverter is switched on, it can be damaged as a result of the
short-circuit.
• Only switch on the inverter again once the motor has come to a complete standstill. The
