Accessing password protected parameters

To display/modify parameters other than type "A", press the "prog" key once: the let-
ter "A" will be displayed.
Select the type of parameter to be edited using the arrow keys, then press "prog"
again. The wording "P- - - - - - - - 0" will appear on the display.
This indicates the request to enter the password. The password is entered one figure
at a time, starting from the last one (furthest to the right).
The value of the last figure is altered using the arrow keys until it coincides with the
last figure of the password.
When "prog" is pressed again, the wording on the display becomes "P- - - - - - 0- - "; set the
fourth figure using the arrow keys, press "prog" and continue entering the other figu-
res. Once the first figure is set (furthest to the left), press "prog" again; if the
sequence of figures entered corresponds to the required password, access is gained
to the parameters and the display will show the type of parameters selected followed
by the figures "01".
Now proceed as described above to choose and modify a parameter. If the sequence
of figures is not correct, the display goes back to showing "P- - - - - - - - 0"; start entering
the password again or press "status report" to give up modifying the protected para-
meters.
Every time the "status report" key is used to make the display go back to showing
just the type of parameter, the password needs to be entered once more to access the
parameters.
The procedure for modifying type "b" parameters is schematized in the figure below.
