4 The control panel

The Microprocessor's interface board (see Fig. 11) is positioned within the Dryer's
electrical panel.
The Dryer's electrical drawing gives full details concerning the interface's layout.
The Microprocessor Control arrives already installed in its housing and pro-
grammed with the Factory Settings listed in CHAP. 5.
Front panel
DISPLAY
S when in normal operation the dew point temperature
is shown;
S when in programming mode the parameter type,
number and value are displayed;
S when the unit is in stand---by, the sign "OFF" appears.
Main switch
Disconnect the dryer
from the mains.
Metric/Imperial data display
when a temperature or a pressure is shown on
the display, it indicates the units of the reading.
S access to the alarms history;
S exits from the parameter programming;
S turns off the alarm buzzer;
S· shows the alarm code;
S resets the alarms.
checks the condensate drain valve; the green
LED lights when drain valve is ON.

Front panel layout

All operations are controlled from and displayed on the front panel, (as shown
below).
4.2

Operating Display

During normal operation, the display shows the Dew Point temperature, preceded
by the wording "t0". When the arrow keys are pressed, temperatures t3 (ambient
temperature) and t4 (temperature of air entering the dryer) are shown in turns. If
the keys are not pressed for 5 minutes, the Dew Point temperature is automatically
displayed.
S moves back to the previous parameter type when selecting the type of
parameter to modify;
S moves back to the previous parameter number when selecting the
parameter to modify;
S increases the parameter value when modifying parameters.
S moves to the successive parameter type when selecting the type of
parameter to modify;
S moves to the successive parameter number when selecting the para-
meter to modify;
S decreases the parameter value when modifying parameters.
turns the dryer on; the green led lights when dryer is operating.
switches the dryer off; the white LED lights up when the unit is connected
to mains (main switch is ON);
S access to parameters programming / visualisation;
S confirms the type of selected parameter;
S confirms the number of selected parameter.
S confirms the value assigned to the selected parameter.
