5 Parameters

Dryer operation depends on a number of parameters; the user can access some of
these directly, others are password protected.
The parameters are divided into 7 types, identified by a letter.
Type "A" parameters: are not password protected;
Type "b" parameters: can be accessed by entering the maintenance password, quo-
ted on the last page of the manual.
Type "C", "d", "E", "F", "H" parameters: are reserved parameters and can only be
modified by the manufacturer.

Accessing type "A" parameters

To read or modify type "A" parameters, press the "prog" key once. On the left, the
display will show only the letter "A", which indicates the type of parameter currently
being modified.
When the "prog" key is pressed again, the word on the left becomes "A01", which
indicates that the type A parameter, number 01, is currently selected.
Using the arrow keys, select the parameter number to be edited, remembering that
the down arrow selects the next parameter (and thus increases the parameter num-
ber), while the up arrow selects the previous parameter.
After selecting the desired parameter, press the "prog" key again; the display will
now show the current parameter value.
If the parameter being edited can be modified (hour meter parameters, for instance,
cannot be modified), the parameter value can be increased or diminished using the
arrow keys.
When the "prog" key is pressed, the new value set is recorded in the parameter and
the display goes back to showing the type and number of parameter being edited.
If "status report" is pressed after modifying the displayed value, the display goes
back to showing the type and number of parameter without recording its new value.
When "status report" is pressed once, the display goes back to showing the selection
of the type of parameter. If "status report" is pressed again, parameter editing is exi-
ted and the display goes back to showing the Dew Point temperature (or the word
"OFF" if the control is in stand---by). The procedure for modifying type "A" parame-
ters is schematized in the figure below.
