Rules for setting the status bits
● Static states are of highest importance in BATCH. The transition states are optional. The
● Only one static state and one transition state may be active simultaneously.

HELD on its own

ABORTING on its own

HELD and ABORTING (useful in order to be able to detect the original state)

Note
Exception: The READY state may be set additive at another static state if the IREADY input
is used.
● A group error (bit 31) may be set in addition to any other state.
● The corresponding USTAT_L bit does not have to be set for entries in the "set if" column.
Batch messages
The block uses the associated values as follows:
Associated value 1 = batch name
Associated value 2 = step number
Associated value 3 = batch ID
