3.5 Management

The Information contains the following sections:

Admin Account

System Log Setting
Date/Time Ping Test Config, Provisioning
3.5.1 Admin Account
The AP Router supports 3 privilege levels: Administrator, User, and Guest. Administrator can
define and add new login accounts manually. An existing login account can also be edited or
even deleted. When a login account is selected from Access Level list, A DEFAULT set of
privilege is provided for the new login added.
To maintain accounts, click Admin Account on information, below screen will prompt for
Admin Account setting.
Remote Administration:
AP Router allows administrator access the Web Interface remotely.
Enable this feature; specify the remote port and IP as well.
Http port for remote:
Specify http port number for control this AP Router Web interface
remotely. Default: 8888
Remote Administration only from IP:
Specify remote IP Address.
Access Level:
Select the access level from a pull-down menu.
Username:
Username is a test-field where the user can enter the name of the new login
account to be added, or a new string to rename an existing login account.
