Focusing Manually (Manual Focus)

If the camera fails to focus automatically, you can focus manually.
The manual focus enables shooting at a fixed distance.

Select [MF] in Step 2 on p.47, and press e.
The focus bar appears on the shooting screen.

Use ab to set a focus distance.
When e is pressed and held, the center of
the screen is magnified. Pressing and holding
e again restores the normal display.

• When changing the focus mode from [MF], change the mode in [Focus] of the A menu.
