Cleaning Pad
Hand wash pad with warm sudsy water, rinse clean and air dry.
Do not use bleach or use other harsh cleaners. Do not dry clean
or machine wash.
Harness Straps: Spot clean only. Do not machine or hand
wash.
NOTE:
Do not wash the restraint system pad while still on the
shell. Spot clean only if it is not removed.
Do not use this restraint system without the
seat pad. Failure to do this can result in
serious injury.

Remove Pad
(full wrap pad)
From the front of restraint
system, remove the pad
from the shell, starting at
the top.
Then pull the pad off the
front of the restraint system.
Install Pad
Replace seat pad by reversing order for your particular model.
Attach all of the elastic straps if required.
Install harness system (see section C-9).
C-9 Installing Harness System

Install Buckle/Crotch
Strap
Fit the buckle/crotch
strap's metal retainer
through the slot in the
seat. Make sure buckle is
facing out. See section C-
2 for proper position.
Pull buckle/crotch strap's
metal retainer completely
through pad and shell
from bottom of restraint
system.

Check Buckle
Pull up on buckle/crotch
strap to make sure it is
secured. The buckle
must not pull out.
Failure to place buckle's metal plate completely
through pad and shell can result in serious
injury or death to the child.
