G-2 Adjusting the Tether Strap
The tether strap is used for the forward-facing position only.
Vehicles manufactured today already have the tether anchor
hardware installed in the vehicle. Refer to your owner's
manual for locations. If your vehicle does not have an
tether anchor bracket, please see your dealer or a
qualified mechanic and have one installed.
Tether straps are required in Canada. Using
this child restraint without the tether strap
anchored as recommended by the
manufacturer would be a misuse of the child
restraint and, in a sudden stop or crash, could
cause serious injury or death.
