Secure UAS belts and tether strap when using
the aircraft belts.
Use only if the belt can be tightened properly
and securely.
Do not recline the infant restraint beyond the
level-to-ground line. Use only the reclined
position. Do not use the recline stand when
rear-facing.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in
serious injury or death.

Place Child Restraint
on Aircraft Rear-Facing
Recline the infant restraint,
make sure level to ground
line on the side of the shell is
level with ground. Do not
use the recline stand. Adjust
infant restraint if needed.
NOTE: If you cannot get the
level to ground line level to
the ground (horizontal), you
may use a tightly rolled
towel(s) or a foam noodle(s)
under the front of the infant
restraint where the aircraft's
seat back meets the
aircraft's bench seat.
Thread Aircraft Belt
With the aircraft belts fully
extended, thread the aircraft
buckle and belt through the
rear-facing belt path.

Pull Buckle Across to
Opposite Side

Reach under pad and pull
the buckle across the shell

and out the rear-facing belt
path on opposite side.
Aircraft belt MUST be
under pad and in front of buckle/crotch strap.
Do not place belt over infant's legs.
NOTE: You must use the 1st or 2nd buckle/crotch strap
slots when rear-facing.

Buckle and Tighten
Aircraft Belt
After buckling the aircraft
belt, push down firmly on
the infant restraint. Reach
through the rear-facing
belt path and pull on the
free end of the lap belt to
tighten.
8.
Check Aircraft Belt
Tightness
Grasp the infant
restraint at the belt path
with one hand. Push and
pull the infant restraint
from side to side, forward
and back. The infant
restraint should not move
more than 2.5 cm (1 in)
and the aircraft belt should not loosen.
NOTE: If it moves more than an 2.5 cm (1 in.) or if the aircraft
belt loosens, try reinstalling the infant restraint or try another
seating location.
Secure your infant in the infant restraint.
