About call blocking
You can block all incoming calls or block incoming calls only when your BlackBerry® device roams to
another network.
You can also block all outgoing calls and all outgoing international calls, or you can block outgoing
international calls only when your device roams to another network.
Call blocking prerequisites
• Verify that your wireless service provider plan includes this service.
• Verify that your wireless service provider has set up your SIM card for this service.
• Verify that your wireless service provider has provided you with a default call barring password.
Block calls
1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Call Barring.
4. Highlight a call blocking option.
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Enable.
7. Type your call blocking password.
To stop blocking calls, highlight a call blocking option. Press the Menu key. Click Disable.
Change the call blocking password
1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Call Barring.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Change Password.

Fixed dialing

About fixed dialing
If you enable fixed dialing number (FDN) mode, your BlackBerry® device only makes calls to contacts
on your FDN list.
Your device can dial emergency numbers in FDN mode, even if the numbers are not in the FDN list.
