BRIGHTNESS CONTROL
Pressing this softkey activates BRIGHTNESS CONTROL.
The DIMMER MENU appears in the function display.
The DIMMER MENU provides several sliders which allows individual
adjustment of the various parts of the radar display.
D DIMMER slider used for dimming the whole radar display
D R−RINGS slider used for dimming the RANGE RINGS
D SHM slider used for dimming the ship heading marker
D EBL slider used for dimming the electronic bearing line
D VRM slider used for dimming the variable range marker
D VIDEO slider used for dimming all video information in the PPI
D SYMBOLS slider used for dimming all artificial symbols
D TEXT slider used for dimming radar rose
D ARPA slider used for dimming the ARPA symbols
DAY / NIGHT display
This softkey is used to switch between DAY and NIGHT modes.
When the radar is switched ON, it always starts in DAY mode.
STBY / Tx display
Pressing the STBY button switches the NSC radar system from STBY to
transmit mode
