Before switching on the control unit for the first time, read the chapter 11.4 which describes how to set
the requested individual user functions according to different national standards.
1. Insert the mains fuse (in order to power up the control unit) and connect the
batteries.
2. Calibrate control lines 4 and 5 (see chapter 10.6).
3. Trigger the lamp test by pressing "Lamp Test" and check whether all LEDs light
up and the buzzer sounds for about 5 seconds.
4. Clear any faults that may be caused by peripheral devices.
5. Complete the log sheet (see chapter 12).
1. Check the sequence of the automatic extinguishing by fire detectors.
2. Check the manual activation of extinguishing.
3. Check the reporting of the state "Released" without release by fire detector or
manual activator.
4. Check the pre-discharge-warning time.
5. Check the function of the alarm horn (sound mode) and the warning panel.
6. Check the blocking devices (Emergency hold or abort button, etc.).
7. Check the reporting of the state "Loss of extinguishing agent".
8. Check the operating access, the remote transmission and fire control.
1. The commissioning operations are completed, when:
All functions have been checked and the system operates perfectly
–
Each detector has been checked
–
Remote transmission or alarm and fault reporting to the fire detector system
–
function correctly
The log sheet of user functions is filled in
–
The system operates in normal mode, all system components are enabled
–
and no fault is indicated.
The buzzer is enabled (the PU7 jumper on the main board, upper level, is set)
–
Temporary operating access has been disabled (the PU1 jumper on the main
–
board, upper level, is removed)
All cylinders of the battery of cylinders have the correct pressure or the correct
–
weight
The function of the pipe network has been checked
–
The system operator has been instructed with written confirmation.
–
2. Unlock the extinguishing releasing device and inform the system manager.
