3.1
Switching on the street lights by entering the time
manually (user-defined mode)
Determine manually, via SMS or the LOGO! TDE, at which time of day the street
lights shall be switched on the day after.
The time value is written to function block "Set time" via variable address "VW6"
and further processed in the program.
Figure 3-1
A valid format for the time input is the hours as numerals "1-24" and the minutes as
numerals "0-59". If, for example, the user-defined time of day "11:30 h" shall be set,
the value "1130" must be entered here via SMS, LOGO! display, or LOGO! TDE.
The correctness of the entered time value is verified in the LOGO! program by
means of analog function blocks (analog comparators, analog MUX, etc.).
If an invalid time format is entered (e.g. "2430"), a warning message is output via
SMS, and locally on LOGO! display or LOGO! TDE, and the astro clock mode is
automatically activated.
As soon as a valid time format is inserted, the user-defined mode is automatically
activated again.
