Drift Check

4. Press Zero.
30 zero measurements are performed and averaged.
5. Insert the analysis cell into the cell compartment.
6. Press Start.
100 measurements are performed, from which the mean
value and the standard deviation for the noise, the sample
and the reference are calculated.
Note: The user determines the test criteria for the passing or failing
of the noise check.
7. Press the PC & Printer icon to send data to the Printer.
8. Press Cancel to return to Optical Checks.
With the drift check the stability of the device is checked.
Note: The drift check lasts one hour.
1. Press Drift Check in the "Optical Checks" menu.
2. Press  to select the wavelength.
3. Enter the wavelength and press OK to confirm your
selection.
4. Press Start.
The drift check lasts one hour.
This test takes a reading every minute for one hour. Every
fifteen minutes, linear regression is used to calculate the
slope (rate of change) for the previous fifteen minute interval.
The last reading and slope for each 15 minute interval are
displayed. At the end of the hour, the overall values are
calculated and displayed. The test proceeds to completion.
5. Press Cancel to return to Optical Checks.
