Customizing Camera and Video Settings

Before capturing a photo or a video, you can tap
NOTE: Some camera and video options will change in different camera modes.
• Resolution: Set the image size for your photos.
• Video quality: Set the quality for your video.
Point-and-shoot: (front camera only) Tap the viewfinder screen to take a photo.

Smile: (front camera only) Tap to enable smile detection.
•
Metering: (MANUAL mode only) Adjust the metering setting.
•
Timer: Set a time delay before the camera automatically takes a picture after you tap
•
the shutter icon.
• Composition: (back camera only) Show or hide grid or golden spiral (used for
balanced photo composition).
Gradienter: (back camera only) Enable or disable the gradienter.

Mirror image: (front camera only) Capture a photo that is the reverse of the
•
viewfinder preview.
• Shutter tone: Turn the shutter tone on or off.
• Geo-tagging: Select whether to store the GPS location in your captured photos
and videos.
Volume key: Assign the function of the Volume Key for the Camera app: Take photo,
•
Zoom, or Volume.
• Anti-banding: Set the anti-banding value to avoid stripes on the screen when you
take pictures or record videos of TV or computer screens.
Save location: Change the storage location for captured photos and videos when a
•
microSDXC card is installed.
• Help: Enable the Help icon on the viewfinder screen, or tap More to view help details.
• Restore defaults: Restore default camera and video settings.

Opening Gallery

Swipe up on the home screen and tap Gallery to view your pictures and videos. Tap
PHOTOS to view the contents captured with the phone cameras, or tap ALBUMS to
check all images and videos on the phone.

Working With Albums

Viewing Album Contents
In Album view, tap an album to view the pictures and videos it contains.
Sharing Albums, Pictures, or Videos
1. Press and hold an album, picture, or video to select it.
2. Tap more items that you want to share.
3. Tap > Share and select how you want to share the items.
Deleting Albums, Pictures, or Videos
1. Press and hold an album, picture, or video to select it.
2. Tap more items that you want to delete.
3. Tap > DELETE.
