Managing Multi-party Calls

When the call waiting and three-way call features are available, you can switch between
two calls or set up a conference call.
NOTE: Options and interface may vary. The call waiting and three-way call features
need network support and may result in additional charges. Please contact your service
provider for more information.
Switching Between Current Calls
When you're on a call and another call comes in, your phone screen informs you and
displays the caller ID.
To respond to an incoming call while you're on a call:
• Swipe up on the screen to answer the call. This places the first caller on hold and
answers the second call.
• Swipe down on the screen (if the phone screen is locked) to reject the second call.
• Swipe away from to reject the second call and select a preset text message or
write one to send to the caller.
• Swipe away from to answer the call. This ends the first call and answers the
second call.
To switch between two calls:
Tap to switch to the other call.
Setting Up a Conference Call
With this feature, you can talk to two people at the same time.

After a conference call is successfully set up, you can tap Manage conference call >

If one of the people you called hangs up during your call, you and the remaining
caller stay connected. If you initiated the call and are the first to hang up, all callers are
disconnected.

Adjusting Your Call Settings

You can configure a number of settings for the Phone application.
NOTE: Some call options are displayed only when these features are available, and some
features need network support and may result in additional charges. Please contact your
service provider for more information.
Setting Contact Display Options
You can set the order of the contacts displayed in the CONTACTS tab of the Phone app.
1. Press the Home Key > > > Settings > Display options.
2. Tap Sort by or Name format to set the order of the contacts and the format of the
contact names.
Setting Ringtone and Dial Pad Tones
Set the incoming call ringtone and dial pad sounds.
1. Press the Home Key > > > Settings > Sounds and vibration.
2. Tap an option.
• Tap Phone ringtone to select the ringtone for incoming call notifications.
• Turn on Also vibrate for calls to enable vibration for incoming call notifications.
• Turn on Dialpad tones to play sounds when you tap the dial pad keys.
