indicator on the front panel lights, replace the battery within ten days.

Turn the power off. If the power has not been on, turn it on for at least
one minute and then turn it off again before replacing the battery.

Take off the battery cover on the back of the PT.

Remove the battery from the connector and put in a new battery. Be
sure that the connector is straight when inserted.
Note a) Do not take more than five minutes to replace the battery, other-
wise the internal memory may be lost.
b) The battery can be replaced with the PT turned on, in which case
there is no limitation for battery replacement time.

electric shock accident may result.
