Installation Procedure

Connecting this Machine

1) Llift the Reader Unit with 2 or more people, and temporarily place it on the floor.
CAUTION:
• Because the center of gravity of the equipment is at rear, be careful not to drop it
when lifting it.
• When lifting the reader unit, be sure to perform with two or more persons, and also
lift horizontally.
CAUTION:
• When unloading the Reader Unit, be careful not to pinch the hands.
• When lifting down the Reader Unit, be careful not to trap the Reader Power Supply
Cable.

CAUTION:
When placing the Reader Unit on the floor, be sure that the Reader Support Plate B is
installed.

NOTE: Recommended Temporary Placement
• Place the equipment temporarily in front of the host machine.
• When placing it on the floor temporarily, be sure that orientations of the pin on the host
machine and the hole on the Reader Unit are as shown in the figure.
