Rotate the reach adjust bolt clockwise to unthread the lever from the

hood.
The reach adjust bolt is reverse-threaded.
Remove the second auxiliary connector cover screw, then remove the

auxiliary connector cover from the hood assembly.
Remove the battery box screws.
