11.3.1 BEFORE GAS CONVERSION
When converting from natural gas (A) to propane gas (E), before calibrating the gas valve, replace the venturi assembly (B) as
indicated in the figure. To do this, disconnect the gas pipe (threaded nut "C") and remove the three screws securing the flange.
Afterwards, make sure there are no gas leaks.

11.3.2 GAS CONVERSION (LPG)
The boiler is preset to operate on natural gas (A). For operation on propane gas, carry out the following: activate the "Calibration
function" to set the boiler to operate on full load and on part load in Heating mode.
• Adjust the Fan Speed as indicated in the table in section "Parameter descriptions". Parameter Settings (if required). The fan
speeds can be modified using parameters P17, P18 and P19.
• Set the air/gas ratio(O /CO
2

Allow time between adjustments for your combustion analyzer to sense the adjusted CO
interrupted if the central heating supply temperature reaches its MAX. SETPOINT.
To measure combustion efficiency and the emissions of the products of combustion, the boiler is has two dedicated test ports built-
in. One connection port is connected to the exhaust flue (A), and allows monitoring of the quality of the combustion products and
combustion efficiency. The other is connected to the combustion air intake (B), which can be used to check for recycling products
for combustion. The following can be measured at the exhaust flue test port:
• temperature of the combustion products;
• oxygen (O ) or carbon dioxide (CO
2
• carbon monoxide (CO) concentration.
The temperature of the combustion air must be measured on the air intake test port (B) by inserting the measurement sensor
about 3 3/16" / 80.00 mm (C) for the LUNA DUO-TEC 1.70 and about 3 1/2" / 90.00 mm for the LUNA DUO-TEC 1.110.
