WARNING
All concentric venting must be fastened together using screws.
NOTICE
Dual flue venting is not to be fastened with screws; this procedure only pertains to concentric venting.
For horizontal flues a minor deviation from the horizontal is allowable, provided it results in a downward slope towards the boiler.
For the vertical flue termination, refer to the separate installation instructions supplied with the assembly.
Under no circumstances, including allowances for extra elbows, shall the flue length exceed 32' 9 5/8" / 10.00 meters.
• Connect the flue elbow to the top of the boiler and adjust the direction of the elbow to the desired orientation (rear, right or left).
• Measure the distance from the outside wall face to the elbow. This dimension will be known as 'X'.
• add distance "Y" + 2" (5.80 cm) to "X" , this is the total dimension of the vents.
• Mark the above dimension on the outer aluminum intake vent. Measure the length of waste material, and transfer the dimension
to the inner Grey flue pipe.
• Remove the waste from both vents (flue and air). Ensure that the cut ends are square and free from burrs.
• Insert the flue back into the intake air vent and pass them through the hole in the wall
WARNING
• Check all measurements before cutting.
• The clearance to combustible materials is zero when using a concentric vent system.
• After installing the venting make sure that there is no recirculation of combustion by using a regularly calibrated analyzer.
• Ensure a minimum downward slope of 1.97 in / 5.00 cm for every 39 3/8"/ 1.00 m of the flue length toward the boiler.
• Ensure that the termination is positioned with the slots at the bottom.

Concentric Vent Support

All venting must be supported every 39" (1 m) with a fixed clamp.
A: steel strapping or equivalent

Flue Options

• The boiler can be fitted with flue systems as illustrated.
• The standard flue (horizontal termination) is suitable only for horizontal applications.
• Maximum permissible equivalent flue lengths are:
Concentric venting = 32' 9 5/8" / 10.00 m
• Any additional "in line" elbows in the flue system must be taken into consideration.
45° elbow
19 11/16"/ 0.50 m
90° elbow
39 3/8"/ 1.00 m
The first elbow in a horizontal run is not included in any equivalent length calculations
• The illustrations below show examples of maximum equivalent lengths.
• Installation instructions for fittings are included in each fittings package.
