CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM

The boiler is designed for use in a sealed central heating system, refer to section 2: "TECHNICAL DATA" for details of the heating
system volume. The system should be designed to operate with maximum supply temperatures of 176°F / 80°C. When designing
the system the pump head, expansion tank size, mean radiator temperature, etc. must all be taken into account. Refer to the pump
performance table in section 2.7: "AVAILABLE PUMP HEAD FOR CENTRAL HEATING". The boiler is supplied with the pressure
relief valve which is set to operate at 50.0 psi / 3.4 bar.
WARNING
The discharge pipe must be routed clear of the boiler to a drain, in such a manner that it can be seen, but cannot cause
injury to persons or property.
The pressure relief valve must be manually operated at least once a year.
• Avoid contact with hot water coming out
• Route the pressure relief valve to prevent water damage
Pressure gauge - to indicate the system pressure to be maintained.

FILLING THE SYSTEM

Periodically check that the pressure displayed on the pressure gauge is 14.7 - 22.1 psi (1 - 1.5 bar), when the system water
temperature is cold. If the pressure is lower, turn the system filling tap installed by the installer. Open the tap very slowly in order
to vent the air.
CAUTION
The boiler is fitted with a hydraulic pressure gauge which prevents the boiler from working if there is no water.
NOTICE
If pressure drops occur frequently, have the boiler checked by the AUTHORIZED TECHNICAL SERVICE CENTRE
6.2

FILLING THE CONDENSATE TRAP

CAUTION
After fixing the boiler on the wall, replace the cap at the bottom of the siphon with the one in the pack, reusing the ring
nut and referring to the figure. Fill the siphon and check it for any leaks.
