Procedure 3 Quick Charge Check
The power supply may not charge the battery pack. Perform the following procedures:
1. Install the battery pack in the T4900CT.
2. Attach the AC adapter to the T4900CT, then turn on the power. (If you cannot
turn on the power, go to Procedure 4.)
3. Run the Diagnostic test, following the steps described in chapter 3, and select the
system configurations.
4. Read the characters on battery capacity display area of the status indicator panel.
If the characters match any code of the following tables, go to each check item. If
any characters do not display, go to Procedure 4.

Check 1 Make sure the AC adapter's cable and AC cord are firmly plugged into the DC IN
socket and wall outlet. If these cables are connected correctly, replace the AC
cord and AC adapter.
Check 2 The battery pack will be completely discharged. Wait a few minutes to charge the
battery pack. If the battery pack still isn't charged, replace the battery pack with a
new one.
Check 3 The battery's temperature will be hot or cold. Return the temperature to normal
operation condition.
If the battery pack still isn't charged, replace the battery pack with a new one.
Check 4 Go to Procedure 4.
