4.3 Optional Memory Card
Removing an Optional Memory Card
To remove an optional memory card from the T4900CT, follow the steps below and refer to
figures 4-2 and 4-3.
1. Turn off the power to the T4900CT. Disconnect the AC adapter, power cord, and
all external cables connected to the T4900CT.
2. Remove the battery pack as described in section 4.2.
3. Open the cover to the expansion memory slot located on the left side of the com-
puter (figure 4-2).
4. Grasp the plastic tab and pull it so that the card comes partially out of the com-
puter (figure 4-2).
5. Grasp the optional memory card and pull it completely out (figure 4-3).
CAUTION: DO NOT touch the connecting edge of the memory card. De-
bris or oil in or on the connector may cause memory access problems.
