Appendix I BIOS Rewrite Procedures
This Appendix explains how to rewrite the system BIOS program when you update the
system BIOS.
Tools
To rewrite the BIOS, you need the following tool:
BIOS rewrite disk for T4900CT
Rewriting the BIOS
1.
Set the system to Boot Mode.
2.
Turn off the power to the T4900CT.
3.
Remove the external cable, memory card, and PCMCIA card.
4.
Turn on the power while holding down the F12 key. (Keep holding down the key
until the system speaker sounds a beep.)
5.
When the BIOS message is displayed, insert the BIOS rewrite disk into the FDD.
Press the Enter key to start the BIOS rewrite program.
6.
When the process is completed, eject the rewrite disk and restart the system.
