Unit Startup

Before placing product into the cabinet, the unit should be sanitized and cooled
down to operating temperature [41° F (5° C) or below] to ensure there is no con-
tamination of the product when it is placed in the unit.
To start the unit, plug the power cord into the wall outlet and open the control
panel by grabbing the lower right-hand corner and opening it. (See Figure 6.)

CAUTION:
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly
available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
Turn on the power switch located behind the control panel, as shown in Figure 7.
The system now displays the Home Screen, shown in Figure 8.
The sanitizing procedure is automated. For ice hopper sanitizing, perform the proce-
dure in Table 3.
