No tubing is needed to connect the syrups bags to the unit. All product bags are
located in the trays inside the lower portion of the cabinet.
Each of the eight BIB trays holds a product bag up to two gallons in size. The bag
connector BIB is located at the rear center of the tray, as shown in Figure 3.
The unit comes equipped with a 1.65" (42 mm) ID/ 1.97" (50 mm) OD PVC drain
fitting.
The drain hose should have a minimum ID of 1.25" (32 mm), and must
have an air gap, as shown in Figure 4.
The floor drain should be located behind the unit and a maximum of 10
feet (3 meters) away from the drain outlet.
Keep the length of the drain tube as short as possible. Avoid sharp bends,
traps or turns which could restrict the evacuation of waste.
50 mm drain pipes, elbows and flexible connections are included with the
Helix Installation Kit (Optional).
If the floor drain is located within the footprint of the unit, install a hard
plumbed PVC drain pipe. The exit of the pipe should be located above the
center of the floor drain, as shown in Figure 5.
Always keep a minimum air gap of 50 mm (2 in.) between the drain exit
and the floor/wall drain. To avoid reverse contamination, never connect
the Helix drain straight to the floor, or wall drain.
