2. Look inside the front compartment and carefully remove any
paper or obstructions.
3. Close the front cover.
If the Paper Jam message is still displayed on the operator
panel:
1. Turn off the printer.

2. Carefully open the top cover.
CAUTION:
The thermal head becomes extremely hot during normal
operation. Do not touch it.
There are sharp cutter blades inside the printer. Follow
instructions carefully to avoid touching any areas that may
be hazardous.
3. Remove the ribbon.
4. Remove the paper guide by pulling up on the two black knobs.
