Hill Descent Control System

Hill Descent Control
System Indicator
*1: Models with the keyless access system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an
ignition switch.
* Not available on all models
*
Keeps the vehicle speed steady while going
down hills without depressing the accelerator
or brake pedal.
When to use
The system activates when the vehicle speed is
between around 10 km/h (6 mph) and 20
km/h (12 mph).
Hill descent control system on and off
With the ignition switch in ON
hill decent control system button to turn the
system on and off.

When the system is on (ready to use), the
hill descent control system indicator
comes on.
The indicator blinks while the system is in
operation.

The brake lights automatically come on while the
system is in operation.
The system is turned off every time you stop the
engine, even if you turned it on the last time you
drove the vehicle.
