Digital input indicator

This indicator will blink when you turn on the digital input switch. When an
external digital signal device is connected to the digital input connector, the
indicator will change to steadily lit.

STEREO/MONO select switch (Direct Monitor section)
This selects whether the signal input via the combo input jacks (1) is to be
monitored in stereo (STEREO) or in monaural (MONO).
If you have connected a guitar to only INPUT 2/R, use the monaural setting (
inward position). Even if the monaural setting is selected, the audio signal sent via
USB to your computer is stereo.
* If the digital input switch (6) is on, operating the STEREO/MONO select switch has no
effect.

Direct monitor switch (Direct Monitor section)
This selects whether the signal input via the combo input jacks (1) is to be
output from the headphone jack (13) and master output jacks (14).
The direct monitor on/off setting can be controlled directly from ASIO 2.0
compliant software such as Cubase.

* This setting does not affect the signal input via the digital input connector (16).

Direct monitor volume (Direct Monitor section)
This adjusts the volume at which the signal input via the combo input jacks (1)
is output from the headphone jack (13) and the master output jacks (14).
When this is turned fully clockwise, the signal being monitored will be at +6 dB.

Direct monitor indicator (Direct Monitor section)
This indicator will be lit if direct monitor is on, and unlit if direct monitor is off. If
the digital input switch (6) is on, the Direct Monitor indicator will be
extinguished and the direct monitor function will be off.

Output volume

This adjusts the volume of the output from the headphone jack (13) and the
master output jacks (14).
13.

Headphone jack

Headphones are connected to this jack. This outputs the same sound as the master
output jacks (14). Sound will still be output from the master output jacks
even if headphones are connected.
The input signal will be output.
The input signal will not be output. Use this setting if the
audio signal is being passed through within your com-
puter, or if you are monitoring the input signal directly
via an external mixer.
