1.7 Trap

1.7.1 Target Address

A target is a receiver of SNMP notification(s), which are usually SNMP Managers. The target address
defines the transport parameters of the receivers.
Follow the steps below to configure the SNMP Target address.

Description
Enters the configuration mode
Configures the SNMP target address
information.
TargetAddressName - Alphanumeric
value with a maximum of 40 characters.
ParamName – The parameter to be
notified
Alphanumeric value with a maximum of
40 characters.
IPAddress – IPv4 address of the target.
IP6Address – IPv6 address of the target.
Seconds – Specifies the timeout within
which the target should be reachable.
RetryCount – Specifies the number of
retries to reach the target.
