Configuring Port-Based Traffic Control
Purpose
Enters the global configuration mode.
Enables the small-frame rate-arrival feature on the switch.
(Optional) Specifies the time to recover from the specified
error-disabled state.
(Optional) Configures the recovery time for error-disabled
ports to be automatically re-enabled after they are error
disabled by the arrival of small frames
Storm control is supported on physical interfaces. You can
also configure storm control on an EtherChannel. When storm
control is configured on an EtherChannel, the storm control
settings propagate to the EtherChannel physical interfaces.
Enters interface configuration mode, and specify the interface
to be configured.
Configures the threshold rate for the interface to drop
incoming packets and error disable the port. The range is 1 to
10,000 packets per second (pps)
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
