Background Density Control
There are 9 steps to adjust the background density control.
Cl If
copying a newspaper, or an original with a dark background, touch the Light key and adjust the background
density to a lighter setting.
Cl If part of the original is marked with a highlighting pen, touch the Dark key and adjust the background density
to a darker setting.
Cl The default setting is level 5.
Pastel
There are 9 levels to make copies in pastel tones.

The default setting is level 9 which yields a normal color copy.
