D Setting the Duplex direction and frequency offset

1.
Push [QUICK].
2.
Select "DUP."
(Rotate [DIAL] to select it, and then push [ENTER].)
3.
Select the Duplex direction.
• OFF:
For simplex operation (the receive and transmit frequencies are the same).
• DUP–: The transmit frequency shifts down from the receive frequency by the offset
amount.
• DUP+: The transmit frequency shifts up from the receive frequency by the offset
amount.
4.
Rotate [DIAL] to set the offset.
• Set to between 0.000.00 and 159.999.99 MHz.
L The selected tuning step in the VFO mode is used to set the offset.
L 5.000 MHz is set as the default on the 430M band.
20.000 MHz is set as the default on the 1200/2400M band.
5.
Push [ENTER].
• "DUP–" or "DUP+" is displayed.
6.
Hold down [SQL].
L The Monitor function is ON. The receive frequency is shifted while [SQL] is hold down.
Push [SQL] to
open the squelch
