Before Using Your Trimmer
Beard, mustache, or sideburn hairs
should be dry. Avoid using lotions before
using your trimmer.
Be certain the trimmer guard is at the
desired setting. When first using, you
may want to begin on a higher setting
(#9-longest hair) to prevent trimming off
too much hair initially.
For first-time use, or if the trimmer has
not been used for a long period of time,
you will need to charge the batteries
for 14-16 hours to enjoy the full capacity
of cordless operation. After first use, the
MB-400 can be recharged in 1 to 3
hours.
Use only the adapter provided with
unit.
Comb hairs outward so they are at their
maximum height and facing in the same
direction.
Clean cutter blades regularly (see
Maintenance section).
Never use trimmer with a damaged
or broken cutter unit.
VacuumTrim™ Features
Your VacuumTrim
TM
has been designed with
several advanced features to help you get
perfect results every time you trim, without the
mess. Your VacuumTrim
TM
may also be used to
neatly trim the neckline, sideburns, and around
the ears and eyebrows.
The vacuum system
captures virtually all
the facial hair as it
is cut. The hairs are
vacuumed into an
easy-to-empty hair
collection drawer at
Hair removal drawer
the base of the
trimmer. Most hairs that may fall into your
sink or onto your countertop can also be
vacuumed up by the trimmer. We recom-
mend emptying the hair collection drawer
after each use. To remove it, gently squeeze
the sides and slide it straight out.
A 9-position Zoom
Wheel provides the
greatest choice of
cutting lengths for a
consistent trim every
time. Adjust the
trimming length by
9-position
rotating the Zoom
Zoom Wheel
Wheel to the desired
position number. Refer to the chart on page
6 for the position number of your desired
beard length.
