Setting a Specimen

WARNING
Do not use the CM-3600A in places where flammable or combustible gases (gasoline fumes, etc.)
are present. Doing so may cause a fire.
Do not disassemble or modify the CM-3600A. Doing so may cause a fire or electric shock.
The CM-3600A should not be operated if it is damaged, or smoke or strange odors occur. Doing so
may result in a fire.
In such situations, turn the power OFF immediately, disconnect the AC adapter from
the AC outlet, and contact the nearest Konica Minolta-authorized service facility.
CAUTION
Do not perform measurement with the specimen measuring port directed
towards your face. Doing so may cause damage to your eyes.
Be careful around openings in the CM-3600A. Failure to do so
may result in fingers being trapped causing injury.
Reflectance measurement
To measure the reflectance of a film - or
plate-like specimen, the specimen needs
to be secured with the sample holder. If the
specimen cannot be secured in this way,
remove the sample holder and hold the
specimen against the measurement aperture.
The sample holder
can hold samples
with thicknesses
up to 30 mm.
When measuring specimens that are thicker than 30 mm

Removing the Sample Holder

Procedure
1.
Use a Philips screwdriver to turn
the two screws counter-clockwise
to remove the sample holder.
○ Keep the screws and sample holder in a safe place.
