How to Remove the Auxiliary
Pump
Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,
the O-ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hose
end must be replaced. All connections must be
torqued to specification during installation. Refer to
Specifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Torque
Specifications.

Raise the secondary boom approximately 6 ft /
2 m. Turn the machine off.

Place a suitable container under the hydraulic
tank. Refer to Specifications, Machine
Specifications.

Remove the drain plug from the hydraulic
tank. Completely drain the hydraulic tank into
a container of suitable capacity.
Bodily injury hazard. Beware of
hot oil. Contact with hot oil may
cause severe burns.

Remove the center turntable cover fasteners.
Remove the cover from the machine.

Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses
from the auxiliary pump. Cap the fittings on the
pump.

Remove the auxiliary pump mounting bolts.
Carefully remove the pump.

Hydraulic Pump

Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.
