Dialing, deleting and editing a directory entry
To edit a directory entry
1. Press DIR when in idle mode.
2. Press or
DIR
the desired entry.
-OR-
Use the alphabetical search to find the desired entry. Refer
to steps 2 and 3 in To search by name on page 31.
3. Press /SELECT to modify the entry.

4. To edit the name, press
Press /SELECT to show EDIT NAME. Follow step 7 in
MENU
Directory storage on page 29 to edit the characters.

To edit the number, press
>NUMBER. Press
Follow step 5 in Directory storage on page 29 to edit the
digits.

To assign or reassign a speed dial location, press
or to scroll to >SPEED DIAL. Press

show the speed dial list. Do the following:
• To assign a speed dial location to this entry, press

• To reassign another speed dial location to this entry, press
