Intel® Server Board S2400SC TPS
One 2x5 connectors on the server board (J1C2) provides support for two additional USB ports.
J1C2 is recommended for front panel USB ports.
One low-profile 2x5 connector (J2E1) on the server boards provides an option to support a low-
profile USB Solid State Drive.

The server board provides one additional Type A USB port (J1J1) to support the installation of a
USB device inside the server chassis.

Fan Headers

The server board provides three SSI-compliant 4-pin and six SSI-compliant 6-pin fan headers to
use as CPU and I/O cooling fans. 3-pin fans are supported on all fan headers. 6-pin fans are
supported on headers J3J3, J2J10, J2J8, J3J2, J2J9 and J2J7. 4-pin fans are supported on
headers J5J1, J7A1, J9A1, J3J3, J2J10, J2J8, J3J2, J2J9 and J2J7. The pin configuration for
each of the 4-pin and 6-pin fan headers is identical and defined in the following tables.

Two 4-pin fan headers are designated as processor cooling fans:
o CPU1 fan (J5J1)
o CPU2 fan (J7A1)
