Wi-Fi

Connect to home network, company network, or wireless
LAN access points for public wireless LAN services using Wi-
Fi function of the terminal to use mail and Internet.
To connect to a wireless access point, set the connection
information.
■ Reception interference caused by Bluetooth
function
Wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth function use
the same frequency band (2.4GHz). Therefore, if you use the
wireless LAN function and Bluetooth function at the same
time, reception interference may occur and the
communication speed may lower, noise may occur, or
connection may not be established. Do not use them
simultaneously.
Also, the similar phenomenon may occur when a Bluetooth
device is used nearby even if you use only the wireless LAN
function of the terminal. In these cases, do the following.
Keep the terminal approximately 10 m or more away from a
Bluetooth device.
If you use within approximately 10 m, turn off the Bluetooth
device.

✔INFORMATION
Even when Wi-Fi function is on, packet communication is
available. However, while Wi-Fi network is connected, Wi-Fi
takes precedence. When a Wi-Fi network is disconnected,
connection is automatically switched to LTE/3G/GPRS
network. Note that packet communication charge may be
applied if network connection stays switched.
When [auto-IP] is marked in Wi-Fi advanced setting, [Private
IP address has been assigned. Connection is restricted.] may
be displayed when the DHCP sever on an access point does
not operate. Check the DHCP setting of the access point. The
similar message persists even if you recheck the setting of
the access point, it is possible that the correct IP address is
not acquired. Check the signal status and reconnect.
