Channel Numbering

The 34945EXT uses the following channel numbering scheme:
where:
Channel numbers are specified using two digits. Examples of the channel
numbers for two 34945EXT modules (the master and one slave) are shown
below below.
An example of this syntax is for a 34945A module installed in slot 2 of the
34980A is:
ROUT:CLOS (@2141)
which closes channel 41 (bank 3) on 34945EXT module number 1.
A range of channels for a 34945A installed in slot 1 of the 34980A can be
specified as:
ROUT:CLOS (@1101:1278)
which in this example closes all channels on the master 34945EXT (module
number 1) and all channels on the slave 34945EXT (module number 2).
Channel ranges can extend across banks and across 34945EXT modules.
Module- and Bank-Level Commands
Selected commands within the 34945A SCPI command set contain parameters
that specify the 34945EXT itself, or a bank on the 34945EXT rather than a
channel list. These commands include:

<slot #><34945EXT #><channel>
slot # - is the 34980A slot where the 34945A is installed. This is a single digit
between 1 and 8.
34945EXT # - is the 34945EXT module. This is a single digit between 1 (the
master 34945EXT) and 8. 34945EXT modules are numbered according to
their position in the daisy-chain sequence relative to the master.
channel is the channel number in the specified EXT module bank.
