Issue 01 (2016-01-27)
Please make sure you are using a standard nano-SIM card. Do not use a non-standard
SIM card or cut the SIM card yourself. Manually cut SIM cards may not be recognized
or may even damage your phone. It is recommended that you replace it with a standard
nano-SIM card from your network carrier.
Please make sure you place the card correctly into the slot. The angled corner of the SIM
card must be placed to fit correctly in the card slot (as shown below).
If your SIM card has been in use for a long time, you can try wiping the card's metal
contacts with alcohol, or you can replace it with a standard nano-SIM card from your
network carrier. A SIM card's metal surface can become oxidized after being used for a
long time, which can make the SIM unrecognizable.
Please do not insert or remove your SIM card while your phone is on. Try restarting your
phone after you've inserted a SIM card.
If the problem persists, take your phone to an authorized Huawei service center along
with the purchase invoice to be checked and repaired.
