Settings

The "SETTINGS" menu allows you to
customize certain features of the
cordless handset, use security
functions, and register a cordless
handset in a base.
Selecting the program key
functions
This setting allows you to specify which
functions are selected when the
keys are pressed in the standby
screen.

Press or until "SETTINGS"
appears and press OK.

Press or to select "PROGRAM
KEYS" and press

The screen indicates the function
that is currently assigned to the
key.

To keep the function, press
(Valid.).

To change the function, press
(Edit). Press or
the following functions:
SILENCE
ALARM
TIMER
KEY LOCK
NUMBER
REDIAL
After selecting a function, press
(Valid.).

Note: This setting is normally not
necessary, as the date and time that

set date. Enter the date in MM/DD/
YY format (two digits for the month,
two digits for the day, and two digits

format (two digits for the hour and
two digits for the minute), press
to select A.M. or P.M., and press
(Valid.).
