Monitoring a room
If you have two cordless handsets (both
cordless handsets must be registered in
the machine), you can use the cordless
handsets to monitor a room, such as a
baby's room.
One cordless handset will be placed in
the room to be monitored, and will be in
"sender" mode. The other cordless
handset will be kept with you, and will
be in "receiver" mode.
On the "receiver" handset:

MONITOR" and press

On the "sender" handset:

The sender handset will ring. Press
on the sender handset to
"answer".

The sender handset display will
prompt you to activate monitor
mode. Press

Both handsets are now in monitor
mode. Place the sender handset in
the room to be monitored.
The sender handset will not ring to
notify you when a call comes in.
Therefore it can be placed in a room
where someone is sleeping.
Keep the receiver handset with you.
To answer an incoming call on the
receiver handset, press
(ACCEPT). At the end of the call, the
handset will automatically return to
monitor mode.
To make a call on the receiver
handset when it is in monitor mode,
press
(Call) and dial the number.
To stop monitoring from the
sender handset

Press
(Stop) on the sender
handset.

On the receiver handset, press
to return to the standby
display.
To stop monitoring from the
receiver handset
1
Press
(Stop) and then
on the receiver handset.

On the sender handset, press
(Stop) to return to the standby
display.
