ARMING THE ALARM

To arm the alarm, lock the vehicle. See
Locks (page 38).

DISARMING THE ALARM

Disarm and silence the alarm by
unlocking the doors with the key and
inserting the key into the ignition switch
with a correctly coded key within 12
seconds, or unlocking the doors with the
remote control.
