Verifying the ERSPAN Configuration

To display the ERSPAN configuration, perform one of the following tasks:
Command
show monitor session {all | session-number | range
session-range} [brief]
show running-config monitor
show startup-config monitor
show resource monitor-session-extended
show resource monitor-session-mx-exception-src

Verifying the ERSPAN Configuration
Purpose
Enables the ERSPAN session. By default, the session is created
in the shut state.
Exits module configuration mode.
Exits global configuration mode.
(Optional)
Displays the status of ERSPAN sessions, including the
configuration status of the multicast best effort mode and the
modules on which the best effort mode is and is not supported.
(Optional)
Copies the running configuration to the startup configuration.
Purpose
Displays the ERSPAN session configuration.
Displays the running ERSPAN configuration.
Displays the ERSPAN startup configuration.
Displays the resources that are available for the
extended session.
Displays the resources that are available for the
exception session.
