Engine Oil Change
Change engine oil and filter when
indicated by the oil life system, at
15 000 km, or at one year,
whichever comes first. If driven
under the best conditions, the
engine oil life system may not
indicate the need for vehicle service
for up to a year. The engine oil and
filter must be changed at least once
a year and the oil life system must
be reset. Your trained dealer
technician can perform this work.
If the engine oil life system is reset
accidentally, service the vehicle
within 5 000 km/3,000 mi since the
last service. Reset the oil life
system when the oil is changed.
Additional Maintenance At
800 km
Initial run-in oil change. Change
engine oil and filter after the first
800 km/500 mi. Follow the engine
oil life system for every oil change
thereafter.

last longer, seal better, and not
stick or squeak.
