Implementing IP Service Level Agreements
Purpose
Specifies the operation number. The range is from 1 to
2048.
Defines an ICMP path-echo operation type.
(Optional) Enables the monitoring of a VPN (using a
nondefault routing table) in an ICMP path-echo operation.
Maximum length is 32 alphanumeric characters.
Specifies that a loose source routing path is to be used.
Specifies the IP address of the destination for the proper
operation type.
(Optional) Sets the rate at which a specified IP SLA
operation is sent into the network.
• (Optional) Use the seconds argument to specify the
number of seconds between the IP SLA operations.
Valid values are in the range from 1 to 12604800
seconds. The default is 60 seconds.
(Optional) Sets the protocol data size in the payload of
the request packet for the specified IP SLA operation.
• Use the bytes argument to specify the protocol data
size in bytes. The range is from 0 to 16384. The
default is 36 bytes.
